I like this

This song is really cool, and the quality isn't all that bad. Nice playing, did you write this yourself?

It sounds inspirational and forlorn at the same time...I dunno, lol.

5/5

yokomeso responds:

yes, yes, I'm so happy you like it! I hope its inspirational, especially to people who listen to it... and yeas i wrote it myself

It was a one shot deal where I went over it bfore hand and thought," I HAVE to get this recorded", before I forgot it. AAlso i was in a very ummm Spirtual mood, so it matches of what i was thinking.

What a better way to tell somone their special then with a card- which dis iz!
thx 4 the nioce comment ;)

I like it

That melody is really cool, You should totally have it build into an orchestral piece. I don't really know about the piano part at :35 though, it sounds kind of...I dunno, abrupt, kind of?

I liked the drums, and I too think you should make them louder.
Nice song, you should definitely make the full song!

Talk to you later.

Neon-Crepth responds:

thanks for your review! i might add some strings in if i make it into a full song, but i think i would rather focus more on syncopated drums and a smooth bass, like i was saying before.
i do partly agree with you about the :35 thing. it sounded way better on the piano... where tempo changes aren't cheesy >;3

Nice.

You are one of the few great DnB artists on NG, along with Rucklo, API, and some others. I'm not saying you are the only good DnB artists, but the level you guys make these songs on is amazing and professional.

The drums were sweet, and the stutters were perfectly executed.
I love the basses that you use. This song is nearly flawless.

Winterwind-NS responds:

wow thanks a lot man
I never considered myself an actual DnB artist
but yeah thanks for the kind words

didgeridoo ftw

haha, 'trance song'?

Earfetish responds:

i dunno what genre someone playing the didgeridoo over the drums is

Cool song

The title is very fitting.
The song is very well mastered, nice job.
My only 2 problems with it were that the piano was a bit soft and the strings were kind of repetitive.

I like this song, it is very ambient. I like your diversity in the percussion. Nice job.
Check out my music if you want. 5/5

Great song!

What software did you use for this? I mean, I'm pretty sure you used FL Studio, but what Plug ins? Cause those synths were amazing! The piano was mastered flawless!

I really like the feel of this song, peaceful yet powerful. You did a good job on this! Cheers on this being used in Dutch clubs, that is pretty cool.
Nice job.

The only thing I wasn't too sure of was that clap around 1:45, it sounded a little too much like that FL preset clap. But it doesn't matter, this song was really great.

Check out my music if you want. 5/5.

NemesisTheory responds:

Yeah, you're right I use FL Studio. As for plugins, um, HyperSonic (Steinberg), Vanguard, a bunch of random soundfonts, Sytrus (standard FL plugin but tweaked to hell and back) and don't forget the filters from FL itself. They can really make a difference.

I'm glad you liked the song. :D And yeah, it really was an honor that it was used there for a while.

As for your music, I will check it out and drop a review. :D

Nice. Cool song.

Very peaceful, airy, and dreamy. I like trance this way.

Nice job, what program did you use to make this? The beat was a little repetitive though.

InsaneSmilie responds:

Thanks for the review, really just the result of messing around synthisisers and loops which is why it so repetative. Seems kinda amature now, but glad you liked it. I use ACID Pro for sequencing and Audacity for editing and mastering, although this song was never proporly mastered.

Cool song!

I liked that sliding synth, it added a cool effect to the song (the sliding did)

I'm not too sure about the snap though. It kind of got annoying after a while.

I like how around 1:55 you had the song sounding very epic and full.

The piano melody was really cool. However, let me recommend some tweaking of the piano:
Put it to the preset 'Concert Piano'.
Add reverb, lots of it, with a full room size. All the other reverb presets are up to you, whatever floats your boat.
Then increase the band 5, 6, and 7 in a 7 Band EQ (like Fruity Paramatic EQ)
Then tweak song Hardness and Muffle or whatever in the FL Keys window...and there you have it! The piano will sound much better, I assure. it.

You are right, this song is very powerful. Lots of strong instruments and cool solos/melodies. But watch the bass, you had a bit of an overload from 5:00-5:40.

Again, nice song! I like your ending, how you simmer the song down to the piano and hat, and the fade-in went along well

5/5 from me!
Keep making music. We should collab or something.

-Exodus

Joobles responds:

Hey, thanks for the review! Once I get that piano sound fixed, I'll pop this song back on here. And I actually never noticed the bass problem before, but now that you mentioned it, I see what you mean. I'll get on that, too. And yes, collab is definately an option. I'll PM you in about a week, I'm pretty busy at the moment. But once I'm ready, be prepared to rock you socks off!!!! Yeeeaaahhaaa =P

nice song

This song is really unique...I like it

It's great chillin' music!

You had a great variety of percussion in there, but you should probably try to stay away from the FL Studio drum presets, lol. Just google Drum Pack Download, or Drum Sound Download you are sure to find plenty good ones!

The snare you used was cool, which one was that? If it's not an FL Studio one, where did you get it? I like.

The synths were cool too. I like this song quite a lot. However, I can't really say it reminded me of springtime in a park, it reminded me more of some sort of Background music in a TV show. I dunno lol.

Anyway really cool song! I like this style. Keep it up!

5/5.

-Exodus

SageGoku666 responds:

thanks! and yea i know about the FL drums =p whatever its all i had. the snare is called lisd.wav i dunno where i got it lol
also it only reminds me of spring cuz thats when i made it... last year... when i downloaded FL

Pretty cool song

It sound really creepy and anxious, good job with that! It really gave me a bowser feel.

The synths were cool and sort of psychedelic, and you had some nice beats in there.

However, it got really muddy, like around :47. Like, it just got a little unorganized. And the song was kind of repetitive.

But I liked it. 5/5!
Please check out my latest song, Trifex.
